Cerila is a local-first hair-accessory styling app. This Privacy Policy explains what information Cerila handles and why. It applies to the current Cerila iOS app and its related support pages.
1. Information stored on your device
Cerila stores app data locally on your device so the app can work without an account or a Cerila server. This may include:
- your optional nickname and avatar;
- accessories, styling preferences, drafts, saved looks and purchase-credit history;
- photos that you choose from your library or take with the camera, including generated look images.
Photos are used to create and display your looks. They are not uploaded to a Cerila server by the app. You can delete individual looks, photos and profile data from inside the app, or use the local data deletion option in Vanity.
2. Camera and Photos permissions
Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo Library access is requested only when you choose an existing photo or save a generated look. You can deny or later revoke either permission in iOS Settings. The app continues to work with its sample portrait and locally available content.
3. Purchases
Cerila offers optional consumable Sugar packs through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment, billing information, receipts and transaction processing are handled by Apple. Cerila does not receive or store your payment card number. Apple may process information under its own privacy policy.
4. Sharing and external links
When you choose Save or Share, iOS sends the selected image to the destination you choose, such as Photos or another app. Cerila does not control the privacy practices of those destinations. Cerila may link to this policy and the Terms of Use in an external browser.
5. Children
Cerila is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Cerila account or server.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to xiangd5444@163.com.
